Ski area is now in its 84th season of continuous operation.
They had help from the recent storm and the snow blowers have been operating as often as temperatures permit. As a result, the Mount Peter Ski Area officially opened on Saturday, Dec. 7, a week or so earlier than usual for the 2019-2020 season.
