Mount Peter Hires New Risk Manager, Adds New Expertise to its Already Thorough Safety Protocols

Anne Duignan

WARWICK, N.Y. (Dec. 8, 2021) – Mount Peter, New York’s family mountain, has added Anne Duignan, a highly experienced insurance analyst and investigator, as its new risk manager. She will play a key role in ensuring safe, enjoyable visits for those who come to Mount Peter, a winter recreation destination for skiing, snowboarding and snow-tubing.

Duignan brings more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, plus a strong can-do ethic captured by a quote that inspires her from sports commentator Craig Sager: “The way you think influences the way you feel, and the way you feel determines how you act.”

Before joining Mount Peter, Duignan served as an analyst for Cigna Insurance and a lead investigator at State Farm Insurance. She holds a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Pace University.

“I am eager to help Mount Peter provide a fun experience for all,” she said. “It will be gratifying to apply my skills and expertise at Mount Peter, where so many enjoy winter activities and share great times.”

Duignan enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking and spending time with her husband, Gene, and two children.

“Anne is a great addition to the Mount Peter family,” said Amy Sampson-Cutler, Executive Manager of Mount Peter. “She will play a crucial role in ensuring that we provide enjoyable, memorable experiences that keep our customers returning again and again.”
