Hours & Directions

Hours for weeks of Monday, March 18th – Sunday, March 31st will be:
Monday-Friday 10am-5pm
Saturday and Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm

All hours are weather permitting.   Tubing is closed until the weekend.

This Sunday is Springstock!  It's time for Spring Rally, with a hippy theme in honor of Woodstock's 50 anniversary this year! Band Whisky Riot, DJ Jay Bird, and all of the usual events, including obstacle course for kids, big air, wacky waterski, cardboard races, and more!



Night Skiing begins January 2nd, 2019
Weekend Full Day: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Weekday Full Day: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Half Day: 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Twilight: 3:00 p.m. – Close
Night: 5:00 p.m. – Close

Lodge opens at 9:30 a.m. on weekdays.
Lifts begin operating at 10:00 a.m.

Extended evening hours until 9:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday through February.
Terrain Park closes one half hour prior to other slopes and facilities every day.

Hours of Operation


  1. The 2018-2019 Unlimited Season Pass and Mid-Week Season Pass are valid during the Winter Season. All operating days are weather dependent. The tentative Winter Season is generally from early December through mid-March. Mount Peter’s night operating schedule, with extended hours to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday, is January 2, 2019 through Early March, weather dependent. These hours are subject to change without notice.

Located in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley, Mount Peter is just an hour’s drive from New York City. That makes getting here easy – leaving is the hard part.

- Take the NYS Thruway north to Exit 15A
- Proceed on NY-17 North to Rte. 17A West
- Follow signs to Mount Peter on Rte. 17A

From the North:
- Take the NYS Thruway south to Exit 16 (Harriman)
- Proceed on Rte. 17 South to Rte. 17A West
- Follow signs to Mount Peter on Rte. 17A

From the East:
Follow Rte. 17A to Mount Peter

From the West:
- Take Rte. 17/86 to Exit 124 (Florida/Goshen)
- Turn left onto Rte. 17A towards Florida
- Follow signs to Mount Peter on Rte. 17A

From NYC via George Washington Bridge:
- Palisades Parkway North
- To Route 87 North
- To 17 North to 17A
- Follow signs to Mount Peter on Rte. 17A
