FREE Beginner Lessons


As hundreds of people will attest to each weekend during the season at Mount Peter, our free beginner ski and snowboard lessons are not just a come-on. Our professional PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and AASI (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) will take the first-time knock-kneed beginner and ge t you up on the slopes in no time. Whether teaching a young child or adult, we will teach to your needs, and you r age. At Mount Peter, we will show you that any age is the right age to learn these fun and exciting sports (they are great exercise, too!!), and we understand that the older you get, the harder it is to put yourself on the slopes and try for the first time. We promise that you will go at your own pace, and you’ll see that skiing and boarding really is for anyone! Offered on weekends and holidays, the lessons are for first time skiers or boarders (age 5 and up. For Tiny Tot Package, click here). The *FREE Ski and Snowboard lessons are given at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., on Weekends and Holidays! (with the purchase of a lift ticket) must be age 5 and up to participate. Mount Peter's FREE Beginner Ski and Board School is offered to the first time skiers or boarders (age 5 and up).
